Balboa Tennis Club hosts two historical tournaments which have been played at this site for decades – the Maureen Connolly Brinker Balboa Open and the San Diego

Metropolitan Championships. Both events offer competition in singles and doubles, for men and women, in the NTRP rating categories, age divisions and open play.

Prize money – depending on the amount of entrants – and awards recognize the winners and finalists for each division. Links to these tournaments will become available when they go live on the USTA website.
